- archaeology, including: the archaeology of Jordan and the Levant in general; archaeological theory and science-based archaeology; cultural heritage management
- anthropology, history, political theory, international relations; with specialist collections on islamic history, political Islam, gender studies, refugee studies and media studies
Electronic journal access: JSTOR is available on-site
Map room (access by prior arrangement)
We have an extensive collection of maps of Jordan, comprising topographical, geological and soil maps. We hold an archive of Prof David Kennedy's aerial photographic survey of Jordan.

IT Facilities
We have a free wireless network with broadband connection for visitors to use their own laptops. There are a few open access computers providing basic office and specialist software, printers and scanners.
